What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?

Over 20 years’ experience in physiotherapy, including 15 in ski resorts seeing acute injuries every day. A passion for managing knee injuries and pain and helping my patients achieve and exceed their goals. Having raced over 20 Ifull ronman triathlons, including Hawaii twice, I have an understanding of the athlete mindset.

Favourite Conditions to Treat

Knees and Necks. Especially ACL ruptures, I’ve spent most of my career helping people with knee ligament tears and like to think I’ve become very good at it and trained many of my staff to be as well.

What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?

Cycling, playing golf, weight training and playing with our 5-year-old daughter Lola.

What would be your personal motto?

Life is short – do it all.

Who is someone you admire and why?

My wife Vanessa. She has a great ability to stick to a task and has incredible resilience. She’s successful at everything she puts her mind to.

Your most-outstanding achievement:

Qualifying for the Hawaii Ironman. It took 7 years of training and after several near misses, I qualified in Ironman Canada in Vancouver in 2013. I had tears in my eyes for the last km of the run when I knew I’d finally done it.

What would you cook if I came round for dinner?

18 hour slow-cooked brisket and baby back ribs on my Traeger grill

Where should we go on holiday?

Back to Niseko to smash some pow!
