What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?

Having played a high level of sport since a young age and having several injuries which needed rehabilitation, I have seen both sides of the physiotherapy journey – from client to practitioner. This enables me to use my communication, teamwork and empathy skills to understand, diagnose and treat effectively to help my clients get the best outcomes. Having worked in both the acute and outpatient setting in London, UK, I have had exposure to a number of different presentation and injuries. Having a passion for sport, physiotherapy and working collaboratively  to help people achieve their goals and change their lives, I love challenges of all kinds.

Favourite Conditions to Treat

Knees and shoulders. Within the sports setting, these are two of the most commonly injured joints. I have attended courses and given talks on these joints and love both ACL rehabilitation and rotator cuff related pathology.

What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?

Playing football, learning new sports, cooking, hosting family and friends, watching films, partying and travelling.

What would be your personal motto?

Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

Who is someone you admire and why?

Rafael Nadal – he epitomises sporting greatness. He is humble, has overcome injuries and challenges in his career and is extremely driven. He has little rituals when he performs that are unique which I like, and I admire his win at all costs mentality.

Your most-outstanding achievement:

Upping sticks and moving from the UK to Singapore.

What would you cook if I came round for dinner?

I fancy myself as a bit of a chef so be prepared for a treat. I love Italian or Spanish food so probably a lasagna or a seafood/chorizo paella or risotto.

Where should we go on holiday?

One of my favourite places in Cancun, Mexico. The weather, the atmosphere and the people are amazing.
