Emily is a registered physiotherapist, graduating with Masters from Curtin University Western Australia in 2017. Prior to that she graduated from Melbourne University with Bachelor of Science with Honours in Human Anatomy and Biomedicine.
Upon graduating Emily worked in the hospital for a year in an acute orthopaedic setting. Since then has shifted her focus working extensively in private practice setting treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries. This is where she developed her specialities in clinical pilates, dry needling therapy and running assessments.
Emily enjoys treating ankle, hip and tendon injuries such as achilles and gluteal tendinopathy. These skills have been honed from working alongside many triathlon and running clubs. As well as seeing many acute ankle injuries working as the physiotherapist for the Melbourne Rebels Womens rugby club.
Emily’s passion for a job in physiotherapy came from her own shoulder injuries sustained while kayaking at a national level. Through her long rehabilitation journey she came to admire the compassion and dedication that the physiotherapists showed her, therefore treats her patients the same way in their own rehabilitation journey.
Back home Emily is active in running and triathlon clubs and here in Singapore is part of the Australian Rules Football team the Wombats. Emily is planning to do her next half marathon along the Great Ocean Road next year… but is struggling getting the training in with the Singapore humidity!

I’ve treated endurance sports team athletes and complex knee conditions for years in Melbourne. I like to clearly communicate a management plan and see exercise as medicine, and the correct prescription and dosage are crucial to success.
