Dong is an experienced registered physiotherapist with over 10 years of clinical practice in private clinics and with various sporting teams. He obtained his Physiotherapy degree from the University of South Australia and also holds a ASCA (Australian Strength and Conditioning Association) certified strength and conditioning coach license.
Throughout his career, Dong has gained valuable experience working with professional teams in different sports, including Australian Rules Football (AFL), football, and mixed martial arts. This experience has enabled Dong to understand the specific demands and common injuries associated with these sports, enhancing his skills in assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
Dong is an active member of the APA (Australian Physiotherapy Association) and remains committed to professional development. He consistently attends courses and actively engages in ongoing education and training. Dong is passionate about incorporating evidence-based practices and integrating the latest research and techniques into his treatment.
In his physiotherapy practice, Dong utilises various treatment techniques to promote optimal recovery and restore functionality. These techniques include spinal/joint mobilizations, manual therapy, dry needling, and the use of electrotherapy such as ultrasound and Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT).
Dong understands the importance of a multi-disciplinary approach and values collaboration with other healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients. He firmly believes in educating his patients about their conditions and empowering them to actively participate in their own healing process.

I have experience working with professional sports teams in Australia, including AFL, football, and mixed martial arts. My expertise includes both on-field and off-field management, as well as post-operative rehabilitation, specialising in knee, shoulder, spinal and ankle surgeries.

Being an active person myself, I have a passion for treating sports injuries. Additionally, I have expertise in treating spinal conditions and chronic pain.
What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?
I enjoy record shopping, DJing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and spending time with friends and family.

The meaning of life is to find your gift, and the purpose of life is to give it away.

Kobe Bryant, I admire the “Mamba Mentality,” his ability to push through challenges, mindset of fearlessness, and giving his absolute best to achieve success.
Your most outstanding achievement:
I had the privilege of representing Australia in the U15 flag football international tournament held in Tokyo. It was an unforgettable experience competing against teams from all over the world.
