Vanessa Colless is a registered physiotherapist with over 20 years of experience working with athletes and a long career as an athlete. Vanessa and her husband Vanessa have successfully opened and operated clinics throughout Asia, currently with five clinics in the ski resorts of Japan, and in Tokyo and Singapore.
Vanessa has had a long career working with expatriates across Asia and has become a favourite for her excellent clinical knowledge and empathetic manner.
As a physiotherapist, Vanessa is interested in hip, spine and pelvis and is excellent at managing knee, shoulder and ankle injuries.
Vanessa has also worked with pre and post-natal women for many years and is trained in abdominal diastasis management and return to function post-partum.
Vanessa was an elite, nationally ranked gymnast in her youth, and has raced over 20 Ironman triathlons, qualifying for the Hawaii Ironman three times.

I am happiest post-exercise, drinking coffee and spending time with my family.

Who is Someone You Admire?
I admire my Mum, she was a very patient, empathetic and caring person. She always had a smile and friendly nature no matter how she was feeling; her morals were of a high standard which I always try to remember and match.
My Most Outstanding Achievement:
Reaching Level 10 and, training at the Australian Institute of Sport in Gymnastics & qualifying for the Hawaii Ironman world championships three times,
What Would You Cook If I was to Go Around for Dinner?
An excellent quality piece of salmon or steak with a wholesome fresh salad and fresh bread.
What is your favourite Holiday Destination?
France and Italy. I love the culture, the food, the quaint villages, the lifestyles and the beautiful coastlines.
