Meet The Team

All the staff at Singapore Physio are highly professional and fully committed to our patients’ health. We actively keep up to date with the latest in injury management techniques to ensure that your experience with us is smooth and seamless, from first contact to last appointment. Our therapists are all highly trained and experienced, with degrees in physiotherapy from leading universities in the field. We practice an Australian style of physiotherapy.

Bevan Colless

Bevan has a degree in Sports Science from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney. Having worked for over a decade in our ski-resort clinics, he has a special interest in acute knee injuries. Bevan lectures around Asia to physiotherapists and runners, focusing on the latest developments in running injuries, snow-sports injuries, cycling injuries and bike fitting. He is a certified Running Injury Specialist by The Running Clinic and also a F.I.S.T. certified bike fitter. Having completed more than 15 Ironman distance triathlons he is also a certified Level 1 Triathlon Coach by Triathlon Australia.

Vanessa Colless

Vanessa has a degree in Medical Science and Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney. As co-founder of Asia Physio she has worked in Japan and Singapore for over 17 years, earning her excellent reputation as an accomplished physiotherapist. She is experienced in all areas of women’s health and also performs running biomechanical assessments.

Edson Da Rocha Jr.

Edson specialises in sports physiotherapy, with special focus on lower limb and shoulder injuries. A Brazilian national, he has been living in Singapore for over ten years with a large following of satisfied patients. He is experienced rehabilitating ACL injuries, having seen hundreds of athletes return to full function after surgery. Edson regularly competes in Dragon Boat racing and recently completed his first half ironman triathlon.

Claire Coltman

Claire is an Australian physiotherapist who studied together with clinic founders Bevan and Vanessa at the University of Sydney. Having worked internationally with many endurance athletes, you can be assured that Claire is up to date with the most recent research. She has worked with the Australian Winter Olympic Team and toured with Cirque De Soleil for many years. Her special areas of focus are the pelvis, back and neck issues, women’s health and dance physiotherapy.

Wilson Leabourn

Wilson graduated in Physiotherapy from the Auckland University of Technology in 2008.  He gained experience treating in London and developed a passion to treat musculoskeletal conditions.

As a qualified FIFA Sports Medicine specialist, he is experienced treating shoulder and lower limb conditions. He keeps up to date with latest research and techniques, so you can be assured that your treatment will be the best possible.

Colin Neo

Colin is a well established sports massage therapist in Singapore. A long time favourite of elite athletes, Colin has a Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy at Australasian College of Natural Therapies, a renowned complementary therapy college. He graduated with high distinction and has been working for many years as a sports and lymphedema therapist. He is highly competent in various techniques such as sports and Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger points and manual lymphatic drainage. Colin also is certified in prenatal massage.

Candice Hutchings

Candice is a top sports massage therapist from South African with a degree in Sports Science from the University of Johannesburg. She is well known for her strong treatments and ability to provide instant relief and long lasting recovery to the tightest of muscles. Candice is also a competitive dragon boat racer competing internationally.

Marie Danker

Marie is the very efficient and friendly receptionist at our Singapore branch. She keeps the clinic running smoothly and will make sure the administrative side of your visit is hassle-free.
